{"id":5710,"date":"2024-07-03T13:04:23","date_gmt":"2024-07-03T13:04:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/laola-projekt.de\/?p=5710"},"modified":"2024-07-04T08:26:14","modified_gmt":"2024-07-04T08:26:14","slug":"laola-in-hannover-and-hildesheim","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wp.laola-projekt.de\/?p=5710&lang=en","title":{"rendered":"LAOLA in Hannover and Hildesheim\u00a0\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><em>Back to School for LAOLA Researchers: In Hannover and Hildesheim, LAOLA gave speech therapy students the chance to participate in its first study.<\/em>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Late in June, LAOLA researcher Sabrina Schr\u00f6der (Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg) and Rica Schulze (University L\u00fcbeck) visited first Ross-Schule Hannover and Diakonie-Kolleg Hildesheim, two reputable institutions for the education and training of speech pathologists. Both events were part of LAOLA\u2019s first major study, aiming at the collection of video data to train a Machine Learning Algorithm to give real time feedback to voice therapy patients who train with the LAOLA app.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Engaging an interested audiences<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sabrina Schr\u00f6der and Rica Schulze delivered engaging presentations on speech therapy and the research behind LAOLA. Sabrina Schr\u00f6der in particular, who is a speech pathologist herself, is looking forward to further collaborations with schools and research institutes.
